Mother Daughter Book Club
Led by Lyn Biniskiewicz, Library Media Specialist
There are many reasons you may choose to join SHA's book club, from enhancing your daughter's reading skills to connecting with her in a different and valuable way and gaining new perspectives as a mother.
The club is open to girls who are in 6th or 7th grade and their mothers or guardian. In order for everyone involved to have a productive experience, the number of participants will be limited.
The book club will meet four times during the school year and read a new book for each meeting. The meetings for 2015-16 will be Sunday afternoons from 2 - 3:30 (October 18, December 6, January 24 and March 13).
Book Club will meet in the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart Library/Media Center, located on the 3rd floor of our school. Book Club is free to all participants, and pre-registration is required.
Lyn Biniskiewicz is the Librarian at Sacred Heart. She holds a Master's Degree in Library Science and is a NY State certified Library Media Specialist. Lyn has one son and two daughters, both of whom are SHA graduates. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years for her daughters. Lyn is also the moderator of SHA's high school Book Club.
